BACKGROUND
The Company was incorporated in Bermuda on 22 March 2005 under the name Contel Digital Entertainment Limited. The name of the Company was changed to Contel Corporation Limited on 26 September 2005.
Contel is principally engaged in the manufacture, trading and sale of digital media products with ODM/OEM capabilities. Such digital media products comprise mainly traditional DVD players and new digital media products such as the Net-DVD Player, HD-DVD Player, MPEG-4 DVD Player, DVD Home Theatre System, DVD Recordable Player, "Walking Cinema", Digital Media Player, Portable DVD Player and LCOS HDTV.
The main markets for its products are the US, Europe and Asia. Its products are manufactured at its production facility in Dongguan, China.
